The way userids/passwords work here was nonobvious to me, so a brief explanation is in order. When you first visit this site it generates a new userid and sends you a cookie. From then on every time you visit here that cookie will be used to determine your userid. You'll want to remember that id if you regularly delete your cookies on the machine you're on. If you forget no big deal, you'll get a new one when you access the site again, but you'll of course have to reset your preferences.
Please go into preferences and make sure you set your username and password. I've set this site up to require a user name be set for editting. This prevents ip numbers and meaningless user numbers from showing up on the RecentChanges? page [hilarious quotes].

To use the search feature simply type in a word or words and a list of pages will be displayed where those words occur.
One mechanism of creating a new page is to click on the ? link in an existing page. Of course that just creates a new page based on the WikiWord? associated with the link.
The straightforward approach is to type your page right into the URL box in your browser. For example in your browser URL window you should see http://sourcery.dyndns.org/wiki.cgi?WikiHelp. In order to create a page named MyPage? you would change the URL to http://sourcery.dyndns.org/wiki.cgi?MyPage
Another way to create pages is to leave yourself WikiWord? tracks as you write. This could be a topic you plan to write or a topic you'd like to see created by someone else. This takes a while getting used to. First to remember to do it and second to craft a good WikiWord?.
A WikiWord is formed by removing the spaces between two or more words and starting each word with a capital letter. This is also known as WikiCase, BumpyWords or even CamelCase. For example, WikiName and TextFormattingExamples are WikiWords. This method of creating links to Wiki pages is preferred. The Wiki will automatically create a link of the page if it exists, or create a link that allows one to create the page. These nonexistent page links, like SampleUndefinedPage?, will be displayed with a question mark link. This indicates the page doesn't exist yet--just click on the question mark to create and edit the page. [The sample page used here is a special example page--you can't define it.]
Placing a backslash in front of the Wiki link, like /WikiFormatExamples, allows sub pages to be created. They will appear in the toolbar next to the parent page. A very handy feature.
One can also make local links out of words with space and other punctuation by double bracketing the link.
[[This is a Page]] creates a bracketed link, [This is a Page]?, the page name will have the spaces replaced with underscores when it is created.
URLs can be entered plainly by typing them in. http://www.mudconnector.com will appear as http://www.mudconnector.com
Named URL links can by entered using brackets, like so: [http://www.mudconnector.com TMC] which produces [TMC]
If defined in this Wiki, links can be made other Wiki's using the following notation: UseMod:InterWiki which appears as UseMod:InterWiki. The orginal Wiki can be found at Wiki:TheOriginalWiki.
Entering text on a wiki can be done simply. Follow these guidelines:
Three tilde characters will be translated as your user signature. It's translated differently whether it appears at the beginning of a line or at the end. This is only parsed once and cannot be escaped with the nowiki tag.
For Example:
JonLambert: signature expanded when at the beginning of a line
signature expanded when in the (JonLambert) middle of a line
signature expanded when at the end of a line -- JonLambert
