Here's a breakout of the TinyMud? family.

Obviously I'm missing PennMush?. Muq and Interlude also probably rightly belong to this mud family.

Cool++ exists and is a C++ rewrite of Cool. POE has been renamed to Mica. It's also a wild guess that POO was inspired by MOO.

Anyone know the derivation of PennMush? and it's release dates?

No TinyMOO? - another Bartle error - Always called MOO by White - released in March or May 1990 followed by TinyMuck? in late summer of 1990. Last release of MOO was 1.2 before rename to LambdaMOO?.
